The self proclaimed fjord-fusioneers Perculator is a young and vital posse, sporting an eclectic mix which fuses electronic beats and samples with double bass, Rhodes piano, turntables, flute, vocals, trumpet and acoustic drums. Perculator has done countless gigs over the last couple of years, and they are a well-reputed live-act in Norway. They have also crossed borders, including a successful UK tour in 1998 with concerts in Manchester, Liverpool and London. 1999 saw appearances at the "In the City"- festival in Liverpool. They also won the Norwegian SoWhat awards in 1998 as best live-act, and have played gigs at the renowned Quart festival in Kristiansand and the Satellite festival in Trondheim. In 2003 Perculator completed a very successful European tour with label mate Sternklang and Planet Noise trio Bermuda Triangle. A major shout out goes from the band to the fantastic audiences that simply couldn't get enough of those percolatin' grooves. Inspiring!
As a support act they have done gigs for such internationally acclaimed bands as Herbaliser, Groove Armada, Romanthony and St. Etienne.

Now, with the new album, the band will hopefully play at a venue near you soon!

Their debut album "Sergeant Major" was met with nearly ecstatic reviews in Norway, and was also released in the UK, Germany, Japan and France. The new chapter now written with the album "Apple tea? Why not, come on!" will bring an exciting and uplifting future to you all, check it out!
